Noob On The Loose
So, eventually I'll be a citizen of Jakarta - our lovely capital city. The biggest challenge is to adapt and remember the streets of Jakarta. I mean, I can get lost very very easy here. It's so complex and the most frustating thing is the traffic. Miss a turn, then you have to go many kilometres before you could get back. In some days, it takes only 40 minutes from here to go to downtown. Sometimes, when the traffic jam is awful, it could take more than an hour and half.
I don't know how long it will take for me to remember or get to know around in Jakarta. Many days, I've tried to remember the roads here by looking at advertisement boards. Boy, that is one fatal mistake considering how many thousands of them out here. So, this would be a tough job. Just wish me luck (no, really, I'm gonna need it a lot).
Perhaps, I'll buy the best map in town, then I can start erm learning the road map. I dunno how many millions people living in this city now. For sure it's more than 6 millions. Well, more people means more places to go for food, unless you live in North Korea hehehe... Eating out would offer a great thing in Jakarta. The basic thing is your budget. If money is not an issue, then for you Jakarta is a food heaven. Oh well, I guess that's everything for now. I hope I could write more. Hamlet signs off.
"We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time."
