Whooppp! I'm back, people! Ok, I dunno how to start, so I'll try to sum up what have been happening lately. As some of you already knew, I just came back from Indonesia for a special occassion. I proposed my lovely girlfriend =P wait, wait, no need to send us flowers or wedding gifts.. not yet at least hehehe.. anyway, everything was good and smooth. To be honest, I was a bit nervous, as I didn't expect it to be held this year.
If somebody ask me what else I did during that holiday, I'll answer "Food Festival". Thanks to my lovely girlfriend who introduce me to the joy of eating. So I spent most of the time eating and trying to adapt myself with the weather. There was some awful day when the temp was sooooo humid that I couldn't stop
swearing sweating all day long. :(
But the rest are good, I enjoyed my time there. Even I still forgetting some of the name of the streets at my hometown. Or how scared I was to cross the road, coz in Indo they drive like there is no tomorrow lol. The more I think it, the more I found how contradicting my country is. It feels the same, it smells the same. It's still the same country where you (those who never been there before) might be amazed about how our people/government do
stupid things.
So now I'm back again, doing my role as a full-time Internet junkie LOL. Talking about Internet, thanks to my ISP for upgrading their services. So it was possible for us to upgrade our 1.5Mbps connection into faster one. They have loosen the tide now so we can have the speed as fast as 8Mbps. Wootttt! Too bad they still give us download quota. But with 80Gb quota, it's still a steal deal, isn't? I just hope the price will go drop in the near future.
Oh, we got a new toy now! We sold our GameCube in eBay, including the rest of the games as well. Actually we planned to sell it to our local Electronic Boutique Shop but they were being irrational again as usual (details will come soon). Anyway, we bought a brand new PS2 console, silver color. No, it's not the slim version. Because of some little technical judgement, we decided to buy the first breed. Even my girlfriend bought the vertical stand and remote control, all comes in silver. Andddd the eye toy! The little twit is really amazing. You'll can't help yourself seeing your image in the TV. The game requires you to move around, or jump up and down like those poor fatso in
The Biggest Loser. Hehehe... it has some good games like the Soccer, Kung-Foo, Baseball, or Drummania. It's good if you love video games and want to loose some of your weight. Go ask your oldman for one if you don't have it =P Go burn some fat! *giggles*
Ack, almost forget to tell this. Declaring ourselves as brave human and heroes with p*nis, me and Irwan crowned one game to be our national icon. It's called Winning Eleven, a soccer game. Boy, if you love sports and a big fan of kicking
some balls ball in the field, you're gonna fall in love with this one. Actually this game has been improved and expanded for years. I remember back to my high-school time, some of my friends already played it. Because PSX was not as famous as it is now, not many play it. It was quite expensive to own PS console at that time. And the reason why I didn't play it, because I just couldn't play the damn thing. I found it pretty hard to control 11 players in such big field with only one ball hehehe.. But as I've played it recently, I think it's one of those must-have game. The graphic will blow you away. It has a great detail of players movement and attitude. You can play either as a
sucker soccer club or you can pick your fave country (sorry yours was beaten last time we played it, Mr. ZARcastic) hehehe.. Of course if one wants to compare with "FIFA Soccer" in XBOX, the two would show a great difference. As some of us already knew it that XBOX consoles have smarter and faster 'brain' the graphic display would be better than PS games. But I dunno why I never liked XBOX. Maybe because its gigantic size, or maybe its superb weight (that I'm sure if you throw it to the wall it will go thru, goes into your neighbor's house and kill the bastard) hehehe, or maybe because its ugly duckling controllers? =P Anyway, me and Irwan play it more than Marilyn Manson does drugs in a week LOL.
Oh, yea about EB. I called them up last time to find out about trading in our GameCube console and its games. We thought, perhaps by doing so, we could got some in-store credit for us to buy the PS2 with them. BUT, they are really cheapskate if I could say it. They just price the console $32 (OMFG), and some of the games (about 7 of them I guess) are even priced only at $11, the most only $30. So I told Liv just to put them up in eBay. It didn't take long, three days later we are $400+ richer. Yay!
Damn, now that's everything folks. Sorry if it takes me this long to update my blog (Blame it to
GTA San Andreas!) Keep reading, and thanks for visiting my blog!
Take care!
